Other popular patrolled beaches are Birubi Beach and Stockton Beach. These are easy to reach from most places in Port Stephens, and are on the stretch between Port Stephens and Newcastle.
That are some other isolated beaches around Port Stephens and neighbouring Newcastle that offer good surf, but these bays and beaches are only recommended for skilled surfers.
